Vocational training

Vocational TrainingIn 2010 DCT was certificated, by the National Accreditation Center for Continuing Vocational Training (EKEPIS), as a center of continuing vocational training with number of certification: 2347-10.

EKEPIS is a statutory body supervised by the Minister of Employment and Social Protection with administrative and financial autonomy. It is administered by the Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Board and the General Director. The Centre's mission is to develop and implement the National Accreditation System for Continuing Vocational Training. This system aims at:

  • ensuring quality assurance in vocational training
  • improving effectiveness of training services
  • reinforcing reliability in vocational training
  • linking vocational training with employment and the demands of the labour market
  • interlinking the systems of VET (linking initial with continuing vocational training systems)
  • promoting lifelong learning.
