Participation in the 2nd Meeting of MECVET project
In the context of the European Project MECVET-Development and Test of a Modular ECVET System in Europe, approved and funded by the National Agency of Turkey under Leonardo Da Vinci (Transfer Of Innovation Project) the second partners’ meeting was held from 10/06/2014 to 12/06/2014 in Berlin, Germany.
The main aim of the project MECVET is the development and test of a modular system ECVET in the field of elderly care in Europe and, apart from the Developmental Center of Thessaly, organizations, institutes, companies, universities and public institutions from Turkey, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Portugal and Germany are taking part as partners.
Vocational training in the rural sector under Leonardo Da Vinci program
The Developmental Center of Thessaly, trying to provide support for professionals of every field through its programs, has implemented a Vocational Training program involving 30 farmers, agriculturists and entrepreneurs of the agricultural sector in the region of Thessaly who deal with or intend to deal with medic and organic farming.

New LDV programme "Be (e) productive"
Under the Lifelong Learning Sector Programme «Leonardo da Vinci», AEKTH is organizing educational programs in Budapest, Hungary through an approved mobility project entitled «Be (e) productive». The program is aimed at 20 beekeepers or people who would like to work in the field of beekeeping and refers to training on modern beekeeping and hive products such as venom, propolis, etc. The training period is ten working days (two weeks) and will be held in October - November 2014.
"Rural School Cloud" meeting in Trikala 17-19/09/2014
Developmental Center of Thessaly welcomed in Trikala (from 17 to 19 of September 2014) its partners, within the European Project entitled "Cloud Computing for School Networking & Learning", which aims to improve the quality of learning and teaching in small rural / dispersed schools in Europe, by exploring, adapting and improving several innovative European ICT based methodologies, that allow to respond to the different needs that teachers face when designing their classes, as well as in improving their professional competences.
"Summer Placements in SPA Hotels"-Leonardo da Vinci Programme
Visits of the beneficiaries of the SPLASH project to the Municipality of Trikala, Labor Center and Chamber of Commerce. Cultural visits to Meteora, the Mosque of Osman Shah Bey (Kursum) and the Fort of Trikala.

MECVET Project meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria
PARTICIPATION OF DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER OF THESSALY IN THE THIRD PROJECT MEETING OF MECVET PROJECT IN SOFIA BULGARIA
Within the European program entitled MECVET - Development and Test of a Modular ECVET System in Europe- which has been approved and funded by the Turkish National Unit of European Programs under the framework of Leonardo Da Vinci (Transfer of Innovation– TOI), the third meeting of the partnerships was held at Sofia (Bulgaria) from 12/11/2014 to 15/11/2014.
